Technical consulting · Since 2018
We build production software for small teams that need to ship.
Estalio Consulting is a technical consulting firm. We design, build, and operate web and mobile applications end-to-end — for founders, indie teams, and companies that treat engineering as a craft, not a checkbox.
The stack we live in
- Next.js
- React
- TypeScript
- Expo
- Supabase
- Postgres
- Stripe
- Vercel
How we choose
Modern, conservative where it counts.
TypeScript, React, Next.js (App Router), Expo for native and web, Tailwind, Radix.
Node and Bun, Postgres, Supabase, edge runtimes, Stripe, Anthropic and OpenAI APIs.
Vercel, EAS, GitHub Actions, fly.io and Render when servers are needed. Observability via OpenTelemetry and Sentry.
Typed end-to-end. Tests where they pay back. Small PRs. Honest estimates. No frameworks-of-the-month.
What we do
Six things, done well.
Web applications
Production-grade Next.js, React, and TypeScript applications. Postgres, Supabase, Stripe. Auth, payments, edge deploys.
Mobile applications
Expo and React Native for iOS and Android. EAS Build and Submit pipelines. One codebase, two stores, plus a web target.
AI integration
Claude and OpenAI APIs in real products. Streaming, tool use, prompt caching, MCP servers. Past the demo, into production.
API & infrastructure
Node and edge runtimes, Postgres, queues, webhooks, observability. The unglamorous parts that decide whether the product ships.
Code review & technical audit
Independent reviews for founders evaluating a new codebase, an acquisition, or a stuck team. Plain reports, no theatre.
Technical advising
Build-vs-buy, stack selection, MVP scoping. Short engagements where a second perspective costs less than a wrong turn.
How we work
Small engagements, real ownership.
We take on a small number of projects each year — typically four to six concurrent engagements. The cadence is deliberate. We’d rather do good work on fewer projects than mediocre work on many.
Engagements start with a paid scoping conversation: a week to read the code, talk to your team, and write back with what we’d actually do, what it would cost, and what we’d push back on. If the fit isn’t there, the scoping note is yours to keep.
We work remotely, default to async, and ship in small increments. We use the tools you use. Contracts are short and plain-English. We invoice monthly.
Have a project that’s harder than it should be?
Tell us where you are and what’s stuck. We’ll reply within two business days with either a scoping plan or a referral to someone better suited.
